Late winter, early spring is finally here in Seattle. I intended to test how much my Pentax 21mm is actually providing me. First of all! I understand why the reason Ricoh/Pentax likes to keep themselves in the APS-C market. However, I hate to admit! I really miss a lot of nice Pentax lenses that provides full frame coverage.
IMHO, APS-C lenses are designed to be only use on APS-C cameras. I wouldn’t expect much more than APS-C crop size. I found out the cropping factors I like the most from shooting an APS-C lens like Pentax DA 21mm Limited to be 25.6mm on a Full Frame instead of using it as 21mm on APS-C (31.5mm on a Full Frame).
Here are some handheld shots I walk through University Village nearby University of Washington the other night.
